Team VISA has been holding a couple of roadshows garnering support for Team Singapore for the Beijing Olympics 2008. A large board was setup and photocards were pasted to form the shape of Singapore on the board.

This round, Team Singapore visited Anglican High and the students wrote their well-wishes on blue boards and got a photo taken and printed as a photocard for them to bring home to show their friends and parents. An extra copy would also get pasted on the photowall.

A few artistic ones took to drawing something more attractive to show their support.

The final product was a map of Singapore made up of small photocards.

To make it more memorable for the guests, Wego hired models to pose with guests and they could choose from various backgrounds like a beach, Paris, Spain & Tokyo. It takes just over a minute to process each photo with the help of a semi-automated program I wrote. This is commonly known as green-screen technology but I prefer using a plain white background for various reasons that’s too tedious to discuss on the blog.

The superimposed prints were printed in 4R size and was only given to guests after the new brand was announced by the team.

Photocards were also printed with the Wego – Travel Search logo branding and given to the guests.

The sheer number of plasma screens in Barfly made it really exciting to take a photo and within seconds be surrounded by your own photos everywhere along the walls

Barfly had a nice ambience and just notice the number of Plasma screen they had on the walls.

We used a white backdrop for the screen. The models had a fun time as well.

Photocards were put on the wall where guests would exit where they just picked their own photos off.

The evening was beautiful as the sky turned dark… kinda funny how the lighted construction cranes actually makes the shot look interesting.

The organisers did a great job with the invites… We do a lot of events but I’m impressed with this one. A lot of familiar faces and A-list guests turned up for a night of drinking and mingling. Guests were given photocards as a memento to help remember the night with old and new friends.

The lighting was great around the area for photography as well. Of course our new cameras helped to bring out the ambient lights, which would have been quite impossible to catch during events.

There was Brazilian music, models & fire breathers to entertain the guests.

The unique part about the Pool Grill is being able to hold a fashion show right in the water.

And they could go right up to the guests as well.

The brazilian ambassador was invited as the VIP to grace the event.

Some guests made themselves comfortable at the daybed area where they can dip their feet into the cooling pool

Our good friend Jimmy T. dropped by.. catch him in "The Showdown" on TV.. I saw the trailers on Channel 5 that day and laughed my guts out..

The weather this season is actually quite humid, but I guess being beside the pool and being able to cool your feet in the pool helps It was a great night catching up with a lot of friends and adding lots of new friends on facebook!

The event was held at the Singapore Flyer and the setup looks very glamorous and posh.

Many familiar faces turned up keen to find out who Scarlet really is.

LG’s business partners had a great time catching up with each other and mingling with the personalities.

They finally revealed the Scarlet, which turned out to be a "Series of LCD TVs", quite an ingenious marketing campaign there.

All the guests had a chance for a ride on the Singapore Flyer, the lucky ones who got into my capsule got some nice photos taken of themselves with the scenery.

Goodie bags were given out which I heard included a digital photo-frame pre-loaded with the Scarlet trailers and interviews.

As usual everybody had fun posing for photos, like our friends from Fly Entertainment.

Tequila was the agency who put this event together and hired us to project the photos of screen to entertain the guests and print out instantly for the quests. Each of the photocards was laminated which enhances durability and makes them look very good as well.

Many guests were thrilled to receive the photocards candid moments and posed photos. We also explained how the photocards could be used as a effective marketing tool to put the brands into the wallets of your guests.

Fuji Xerox demonstrated how they could personalise each booklet with the guests own names.

SingPost showcased “MyStamp” which allows for personalisation of your own photos on the stamp. Looks like something we can incorporate in future as an option

MovieMania (http://www.moviemania.com.sg) provided the cast of superheroes and villains. The costumes were pretty detailed and they even customised a Batman belt for the birthday boy.

There were several entertainment booths like caricature, face painting, costume, sweets, candy floss, ice cream stations. Each of the stations was attractively designed, kudos to the event organisers Faber Image Media.

Nathaniel demonstrated his martial arts skills on stage for his friends.

The cast did a skit on how the villains invaded Gotham City and Nathaniel summoned the superheroes to save the city.

Nathaniel’s birthday cake was decorated with toys and lots of yummy sweets.

There were many games to entertain the kids and they had lots of fun on stage.

Some of the other entertainers included My Lightning Finger, a balloonist (http://www.balloonist-sg.com).

And caricature artists who can draw with both hands at the same time.

Those who were not old enough to play with the other kids entertained themselves with the photography and watching the games on stage.

The kids had tons of fun and lots of memories to bring home. Till next year, Happy Birthday Nathaniel!

The wedding gown is by Ted Wu (http://www.ted-wu.com) and it converts into 3 different looks as the night goes on.

They decided to be emcees for their own wedding too.. as they said, the best emcees in town were all guests at the dinner and they wanted to let them enjoy the evening.

Many familiar faces turned up including deejays, singers, actors/actresses and fashion choreographer, Daniel Boey, who was also doing the runway choreography for the Style Weddings bridal fashion show just hours ago.

Photos were projected onto the screen live and we incorporated our new LiveSMS mechanism for the first time. Guests could send in their well-wishes via SMS and the messages will appear on a scrolling bar at the bottom of the screen.

Thanks for the feedback. Yeah, we realise too that the text was too small to see at the back of the ballroom.

Guests were pleased with a lot of their candid as well as posed shots in photocards which were handed to them personally by our staff.

To make it more interesting, the microphone was passed on to some unsuspecting friends who rose to the occasion and made it a lot more spontaneous.

The video was really entertaining and the videographer did a great job in capturing the actual day footages to fit into the script. Their march in was really fun as well, they got the whole crowd cheering and did a little dance right in the middle

They suggested the idea of printing the photos of neo-print stickers so that the guests could sign beside their stickers in the guestbook.

Their wedding invite also had some space for ‘people we’ve met at the wedding’ and they pasted the neo-print on each others invites.

All the speeches were great especially the groom’s dad who was lovingly entertaining and the grooms speech was exceptionally moving and brought many to tears.

They ended up with everybody on their feet on the dance floor and parties the night away.

I was late for the fashion show but from the photos, Pois Boutique seemed to have displayed some really interesting pieces from their collection.

The headlights of the A4 had the same design as the R8.. very elegant.

Many posed with the models and the cars and received their instant photocards with the Pois & Audi Logo.

Many took turns to have a first hand feel inside the Audi A4..

And of course some of my friends who I always get to meet at the events

Due to a limitation to the number people allowed on the helipad (74th floor) at any one time, the guests had to be split to have some hands on the games on the 69th floor. I ran up and down so many times I could have done the entire vertical marathon.

My favourite song Creep seems to be one of the popular choices and I kept hearing it play.

The winners were a group called the Kiwis (Carolyn, Keri & Rich) with a score of 354,000 points. They won a special edition of the RockBand. Great work!!
